Probably one of my worst kept secrets is that I'm a contributor, under the pen name of continuity, for the website Home for Wayward Geeks. It's just a place for small cadre of writers to go off the rails and really dig into comics, sci-fi, and quite frequently, how awesome Stephen Amell is. (Do you think he's too young to play Doc Silence in the film?)
Anyway--HfWG launched its first podcast this week, with a few staff writers just shooting the breeze on a range of topics, starting with Marvel's announcements about the new female Thor and Falcon's promotion to Captain America. But we talk a lot about comics and social dynamics, why as a group comic book readers are averse to change, and a lot more. It was a lot of fun and we'll probably do more of these in the future. Let me know if there's any topics you'd like to see discussed through the contact us button above or the comments below! Just a head's up--there's some minor spoilers about Captain America: The Winter Soldier discussed, and a few about plot points in Man of Steel. And I definitely accidentally swear a few times. Sorry about that.
