So a couple other writers and I were playing the "if they let me write" game...

Well, sort of. It was a variation of "what if you could create a Justice League based on a mashup of Marvel and DC characters." I *LOVE* this stuff. This is my favorite game. 

Anyway. Came up with a roster I'd have fun writing even though it is completely, 100% impossible and would never happen. Just got my brain going and wanted to share, and also ask: if you could create your own Justice League, using both Marvel and DC characters (total roster of 7 or 8, using at least three from each universe), who would you pick? I went with: 

• Nightwing, aka Dick Grayson, Agent of SHIELD (filling the Black Widow role) 
• Carol Danvers (combining Captain America, Green Lantern, and Superman-ish roles)
  
• Doctor Strange (magic specialist) 
  
• Sue Storm (team scientist) 
  
• Namor (required Atlantean, additional powerhouse) 
  
• Canary (street level vigilante role)
  
• Green Arrow (sharpshooter, every team needs a sharpshooter) 
  
• Steel (and every team needs a powerhouse guy in a suit, usually also an inventor)
  

Aaaaaaaand now I really want to write this comic.
